The controller responsible for processing your data in Kaoh is Siebenberge GmbH, Toggenburg, Switzerland. Questions, requests for information and requests for deletion reach us via kaoh.studio.
Website analysis without an account
When you enter a website address, we read publicly accessible pages of that website (text, colours, fonts, logo, links) and check its technical set-up. Personal data on these pages (e.g. contact details in the legal notice) is read in the process. To limit misuse, we store an irreversible hash of your IP address. Analyses that are not taken over are deleted after 30 days.
Account and organisation
For your account we store your name, email address and an encrypted password, and for sign-ins also your IP address and browser identifier. What happens in your organisation (sign-ins, invitations, roles, analyses, unlocks, exports) is recorded in the activity log, traceable for the people responsible for your organisation.

Transfers to the USA are based on standard contractual clauses or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under Settings → Data you can export your personal data at any time and, as owner or admin, all data of your organisation as a ZIP file. There you can also delete your account or the entire organisation; brands, files and scheduled analyses are removed completely. You also have the right to information, correction and to lodge a complaint with the FDPIC or your supervisory authority.
Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies: for signing in and for the language you chose (kaoh_locale, one year). The domains you analysed recently are stored only in your browser (local storage) so the website field can suggest them; they leave your device only as a suggestion request to Kaoh. There is no tracking and no advertising.
